Many children remain snack at random despite having sung the provision by a parent or no snacks in the school cafeteria. In fact, snacks outside the school has not guaranteed the safety and cleanliness.

Chairman of the Nutrition and Health Research Center of the University of Indonesia Ahmad Shafiq Snacks reveals how to recognize child healthy and unhealthy.

For example, do not use preservatives, colorings, and flavorings excessive or not the recommended dosage. Then, the food is also stored in a clean, odorless, and the packaging is not damaged.
As a result of the consumption of unhealthy snacks, children can experience health problems such as dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, to have an impact on impaired concentration in school.
To that end, the program also makes the Archipelago Movement Healthy Canteen at school and in collaboration with the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM).
Moreover, children in elementary school are also given education about balanced nutrition. "The knowledge gained essential nutrients so that children can choose healthy foods," said Shafiq.
